3) The following is what must be completed by the end of the period today.

2) Come get your textbook from me (each of you has a numbered textbook with your name in it), you need to be sure you get that numbered textbook each day
3) Log on to computer and read my blog

WARM-UP:
1) log on, check blog
2) If you did not complete the term/definitions for Lesson 1 in the textbook, you need to get that completed in the first 15 minutes of class.
  • Get a Big Blue spiral Textbook
  • Open Microsoft Word
  • Save as: Lesson 1 Word Terms Type the words located on page 4 number the definitions type the word and the definition
  • Go to View, select header/footer be sure to include your class header/footer (click link to the right for an example of what your header/footer should look like
  • Print document and turn in when done (THESE DEFINITIONS MUST BE PRINTED AND TURNED IN AT 11:10 AM.)

IF YOU ALREADY COMPLETED THE ABOVE DEFINITIONS:

* then go to Free Rice and spend time donating grains of rice

* be sure to record you donation amount in to your spreadsheet

3) At 11:10 (MOVE OUT TO THE CENTER OF THE ROOM)

4) We will review and explore information together that you will need to know in order to complete exercises in Lesson 1.

5) YOu will begin working on Lesson 1 Exercises.

2) spend 7 minutes on http://www.freetypinggame.net/
3) Take at least 2 ONE minute typing tests
Open your donation spreadsheet.
Record your best timed test, words per minute, number in today's box on your spreadsheet.
EXAMPLE: if you typed 15 words a minute, then type 15wpm (in the box)
